Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Investigator (TMPA)

This 2-day class is designed to highlight the importance of the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) Investigation form and Doll Reenactment. After attending this class, students will be able to: 1) properly use these tools to assist the forensic pathologists in determining the cause and manner of the infant deaths; and 2) understand the significance of their investigation for fatality review teams, CDC, NCFRP, and other partners in preventing infant sleep-related fatality.
