The Intermediate Crime Scene Search Course is designed to provide additional information on this subject area. This course is one of the seven courses required for Intermediate certification. Course design and safety issues are taught as well as principles of marksmanship, rifle nomenclature and operation. The course emphasizes teaching weapons manipulation and training personnel to fight with a rifle at what are traditionally considered handgun ranges and stand-off distances up to 150 yards.
