- Overview:This 2-day, in-person VALOR training provides sworn officers at all levels with the essentials to survive and thrive in their careers by stressing the importance of being physically and mentally prepared, maintaining situational awareness, combating complacency, and remaining vigilant.

- Safety and preparedness mindset
- Physical health
- Officer-citizen encounters

- Weapon concealment
- Intentional wellness mindset

- Deaths not associated with assaults

Additional topics covered throughout the course include professionalism, leadership, and critical decision-making.
Training will be held May 6-7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., CT, with a 1-hour break for lunch (on your own) each day.
Certificate of completion for 16 hours available
This continuing education activity is approved by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) and deemed valid for the purpose of In-Service training credits with all participating states within the United States.
