It is also one of the most dangerous crimes that law enforcement will respond to; and it also is a frustrating crime to address for most law enforcement. SFST Update/Refresher Course - (March 25, 2025 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Description The Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) is a battery of three tests administered and evaluated in a standardized manner to obtain validated indicators of impairment and establish probable cause for arrest. These tests were developed as a result of research sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and conducted by the Southern California Research Institute. This course provides refresher training for licensed practitioners to keep skills fresh and update students on the latest information in the field.

Short Barrel Rifles must have a barrel length of no less than 10" and accompanied by your NFA Short Barrel Rifle Tax Stamp. No AR style pistols allowed.
300 - 400 Rounds of .223/5.56 ammunition (No Green Tip, Armor Piercing ammo allowed)
Duty Handgun with a ridged non-collapsing holster and magazine pouches for transition drills

Enhanced Police Dispatching (National Emergency Number Association) - (April 15, 2025 8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
Excellent police dispatchers must continually improve their skills and keep current with evolving trends. Be prepared for the street! This essential training combines Emergency Vehicle Operations for bike officers with patrol procedures, tactics, night operations, mock scenes, and basic bike maintenance and on-the-road repairs. Learn to ride like a pro, avoid crashes, and use your bike to foil the bad guys every time. Off-road riding and bike-specific live-fire exercises may be added at the instructor’s discretion.
Certification: IPMBA Police Cyclist Certification is available to licensed law enforcement officers who successfully complete the practical test, earn a score of 76% or better on the written test, become members of IPMBA, and submit applications for certification accompanied by the appropriate fee.

Basic Patrol Rifle Course 3322 - (April 22, 2025 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Description
The Patrol Rifle course is designed for officers who have taken interest in the safe and proper procedures for deploying patrol rifles. Course design and safety issues are taught as well as principles of marksmanship, rifle nomenclature and operation. The course emphasizes teaching weapons manipulation and training personnel to fight with a rifle at what are traditionally considered handgun ranges and stand-off distances up to 150 yards. The course is based on the AR-15/M-4/M-16 weapons platform. However, other systems will be discussed.
