This 2-day class is designed to highlight the importance of the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) Investigation form and Doll Reenactment. After attending this class, students will be able to: 1) properly use these tools to assist the forensic pathologists in determining the cause and manner of the infant deaths; and 2) understand the significance of their investigation for fatality review teams, CDC, NCFRP, and other partners in preventing infant sleep-related fatality. Presented by: Dr. Savannah Lusk and Chief Investigator Danny Brewster. Savannah is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine with 10 years research experience in the SUID field. Danny is currently the Chief Investigator at the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office and has a combined 20 years of Law Enforcement and death investigation experience
