Compassion Fatigue

This course introduces compassion fatigue through interactive discussion and shared experiences, setting class goals for meaningful engagement. Topics include crisis intervention, trauma in animal care, and the psychological impact on officers and their families. Students will explore real case examples and learn practical strategies for resilience, mental health, and long-term wellness both on and off the job.
