SUMMARY:Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Investigator (TMPA)
DESCRIPTION:This 2-day class is designed to highlight the importance of the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) Investigation form and Doll Reenactment. \nAfter attending this class\, students will be able to:\n1) properly use these tools to assist the forensic pathologists in determining the cause and manner of the infant deaths; and\n2) understand the significance of their investigation for fatality review teams\, CDC\, NCFRP\, and other partners in preventing infant sleep-related fatality. \nPresented by: Dr. Savannah Lusk and Chief Investigator Danny Brewster.\n\nSavannah is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine with 10 years research experience in the SUID field. \nDanny is currently the Chief Investigator at the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office and has a combined 20 years of Law Enforcement and death investigation experience \nFor More information click here

SUMMARY:Post Conviction Sex Offender Supervision Training (Polygraph)
DESCRIPTION:This is a 40 hour training course teaching the collaborative use of polygraph in\nsex offender supervision. Course begins Monday August 11\, and ends on\nFriday\, August 21st. Class hours are 8AM to 5PM.\nAdvanced interview techniques for sex offenders.\nPolygraph examiners\, as well as therapists and supervision officers are welcome\nto attend.\nOur course is approved by the American Polygraph Association for sex offender\ntesting (PCSOT) and by the Texas JPCOT committee.\nApproved continuing education for American Polygraph Association members.\nInstructors include polygraph examiners\, supervision officers\, and therapists\nwho have actively utilized polygraph in collaborative environments.\nClear training in question formulation and target selection that will facilitate\nunderstanding the polygraph role in risk assessment.\nTraining on the Single Issue Screening Test (SIST) that is ideally suited for\nscreening and risk assessment.\n\nAMERICAN POLYGRAPH ASSOCIATION APPROVED COURSE – $595 per student \nFor More information click here
